RAISE Algebra 1 Curriculum is a high-quality instructional material (HQIM) that can be used at no cost to teachers or students. RAISE Algebra 1 Curriculum is aligned with the TEKS and Common Core State Standards, easy to implement, and supportive of diverse learners and enhanced student engagement by incorporating interactive tools and videos.

How should RAISE Algebra 1 Curriculum be implemented into my current teaching strategy?
RAISE Algebra 1 Curriculum can be used as primary curriculum or supplemental content. There is no perfect way to implement RAISE Algebra 1 Curriculum and in fact, as an open educational resource, RAISE Algebra 1 Curriculum can be easily adapted to a variety of algebraic reasoning classrooms. RAISE Algebra 1 Curriculum provides ample scaffolding as well as opportunities for students to extend their thinking and has been used to support algebraic learning in Algebra 2 and Geometry classrooms.What does the curriculum entail?

RAISE Algebra 1 Curriculum is designed to be used by teachers to improve the learner’s educational experience. RAISE Algebra 1 Curriculum includes a suite of teacher resources to support implementation, including teacher guides and on-demand instructional development content to facilitate the most effective teaching and learning. RAISE Algebra 1 Curriculum provides opportunities for students to work independently, while also offering various places for collaborative discourse and cooperative exploration of mathematical concepts.
